Kirstie Alley announced her new comedy/reality series for Showtime, "Fat Actress," via a short video clip this week, which featured her sitting at the kitchen table in front of a massive bowl of spaghetti. Occasionally interjecting to ask for butter, cheese, and a Diet Coke, Alley described her agreement with Showtime, saying, "For every 5 pounds I lose, they have to give me an episode." "Fat Actress" begins production in September in Los Angeles and will air on Showtime in 2005.
